Bodega La Florida, in San Bartolomé, was the stage chosen to carry out the penultimate of the concerts programmed by the Tourism Department of the town hall, framed in the Clas-Mu 2015 musical.
In one of the terraces of the winery, the concert began by the young flutist Sara Brito, from Arucas Gran Canaria, who shared the stage with the young Tania Rodríguez, from Ingenio de Gran Ganaria as a poetic reciter.
Sara Brito is backed by a master's degree from the Ghent Conservatory (Belgium), a country in which she has offered several concerts. For this occasion, Sara Brito prepared a careful selection of compositions by Canarian musicians and poets to which she also added others of recognized international prestige. With the transverse flute as the only sound instrument in the concert, Sara developed each of the compositions with great professionalism and elegance.
While she took a break at the end of each composition, her partner Tania Rodríguez took over to give life with her warm and sweet voice to poems by Canarian authors. Both Sara and Tania were very happy with the reception from the public, who rewarded them with applause throughout the concert. At the end of the event, the Councilor for Tourism, David Rocío, presented him with the advertising poster as a reminder of his participation in this musical project called Clas-Mu 2015.
