Around twenty volunteers removed more than 3,000 kilos of plastics and debris from the Arrecife coastline last Saturday, as part of the apnea and underwater cleaning activity carried out by the Arrecife City Council, through the Department of the Environment, under the slogan 'For a sea free of plastics and polluting waste'.
The councilor responsible for the Area, Tomás Fajardo, was present at the activity, which started from the Arrecife Commercial Dock and lasted two hours. The cleaning was organized by the Pastinaca Club and had the support of the boat of the professionals of Apnea Lanzarote.
