Arenas Internacional School has carried out the traditional Christmas solidarity campaign, managing to collect a ton of food and cleaning products thanks to the generosity of the entire educational community, as well as 50 toys, which they gave to the Calor y Café reception Association.
Students, families, teaching and non-teaching staff, together with the school directors, have demonstrated their generosity and solidarity in the Christmas campaign organized by Arenas Internacional School, as well as the Arenas and Arenas Atlántico schools in Gran Canaria.
As a whole, the collection amounted to 2,030 kilos of food, almost 350 cleaning products and 50 toys collected in the three participating educational centers. In Gran Canaria, the Arenas School's collection was for the Santa Rita Social Work, in Vegueta, and the Arenas Atlántico School's collection was for the Las Palmas Food Bank and the cleaning products for Cáritas Diocesana at its headquarters in Arucas.
