Two years after having presented his first album "Día a Día", last Friday in the Buñuel room of the El Almacen Cultural Innovation Center, Alexis Lemes presented his new album "Myaco". For this occasion he was accompanied by six great musicians such as, Ivanoff Rodríguez on the double bass, Manuel Adrián Níz on the guitar, José Vicente Pérez with the contra, Ayoze Rodríguez on the clarinet, Carlos Almaguer on the percussion, René González Flis on the horn and Beni Ferrer on vocals.
In this new work, Alexis Lemes shows the great evolution carried out since its inception and in which, based on a lot of work, he is achieving his objectives. Miaco, is an album where Lemes has managed to make the timple the lead voice and its sounds are much more acoustic and where his personal stamp is well defined. Of the ten songs on the album, seven have been composed by Alexis, also including some compositions that are already part of the musical anthology, such as Alfonsina y el Mar or the famous bolero, Quizás, Quizás, Quizás. The Buñuel room, whose acoustic qualities are very good, made the public enjoy chords as clear as those offered by the album itself. Without a doubt, Beni Ferrer's contribution gave it an elegant touch with a voice that transmits and with a very personal staging that the public always rewards with their applause.
Once the presentation was finished, Lemes came down from the stage and shared impressions with the audience about the work presented while signing some of the albums.
