The island has been on pre-alert for heat since this Monday. Maximums of 36 degrees are expected

Aemet activates the yellow warning for high temperatures in Lanzarote

The State Meteorological Agency has extended the warning for high temperatures in Lanzarote to this Wednesday, July 8. The warnings will be activated from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

These days there will be a predominance of medium and high cloudiness, alternating with wide clearings, and without ruling out some intervals of low clouds in the north at the first and last hours. There will also be haze.

The wind will blow from the north component from weak to moderate, more intense in the interior at dawn, with a predominance of breezes on the north and south coasts.
