The State Meteorological Agency has once again extended the yellow alert for haze in Lanzarote, which now extends until this Friday, January 21.
For a week now, the island has been suffering a storm of wind and haze that has generated problems in maritime and air connections, and other incidents in different parts of the island, especially in Playa Blanca and Famara.
In the case of the yellow wind warning, it is expected to end at 3 p.m. this Thursday, but the haze warning will extend until 3:00 p.m. on Friday. According to Aemet's forecasts, visibility will be affected to about 3,000 meters.
