The active cases of coronavirus have been reduced to 32 in Lanzarote as a new patient was discharged this Sunday. As for the number of accumulated cases, it remains at 84, since no positive case has been registered for the second consecutive day.
The island now counts a total of 47 discharges since the beginning of the pandemic and five deaths. In the Molina Orosa Hospital there are still seven people admitted, three on the ward and four in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), while there are 25 people in home isolation.
This Sunday 192 samples were analyzed, of which 150 corresponded to patients tested for the first time, all giving negative results. According to the Lanzarote Health Services Management, most of these tests were carried out on healthcare personnel.
