The fortieth tour of pianist David Gómez, "1 Piano and 200 Candles," which has taken him through different cities in the peninsula and the Balearic Islands, closed at the souk of the wall of the old 16th-century fortress, the Castle of San Gabriel. For this occasion, Gómez had the collaboration of the cellist, Álvaro, and the violinist María.

This concert format is usually carried out in closed spaces such as theater halls or places enabled for it, but on this occasion the musician took the maximum risk by taking the piano to the outside in an unusual place such as the esplanade of the Castle of San Gabriel, as well as in old lighthouses or ruined churches, on beaches, etc., managing to make the piano, the candles, and the chosen place turn each concert into a night where romanticism takes over the attending public.

In this concert tour, David Gómez has been presenting some of the compositions that he will include in his new album "Pianographie", to which he has also added some of those recorded in his previous record works. For this closing concert, the musician began by playing a small mouth piano and then moved on to the grand piano, surrounded by lit candles as the only points of light in the surroundings of the esplanade. During the concert, Gómez made a brief introduction to each of the works he performed, further enriching the work itself.

The attending public was able to enjoy a magnificent evening where the magic of the place, together with the musical selection performed by David Gómez on the piano, Álvaro on the cello, and María on the violin, set the bar very high.
