A creative from Lanzarote, four from Tenerife and two from Gran Canaria will participate in the final parade of the Regional Young Designers Contest, organized by the Cabildo of Tenerife, and which will take place on October 29, at the Teatro Leal in La Laguna.

A conejero, Osvaldo Martín, has qualified for this final, where he will show his collection "Mobile Nature". Thus, the seven finalists must compete in this contest with their different demonstrations. Specifically, Oliver Hernández will present "Gaudi's Chimneys", Israel Castro "Moda Canariensis", Lorena Cacho will present her work "Ronchamp", Juan Carlos Hernández will show the proposal "Warrior's Dance, Sara Cabrera will do the same with "In Wonderland" and, finally, Carmen Rocío Ayong with "Clouds and stickers".

The councilor of the Cabildo of Tenerife, Efraín Medina, has highlighted that what is intended with this contest is "to publicize new talents, show their style and offer them the possibility of accessing the labor market, both on their own and working for already consolidated companies".

This Cabildo, through Tenerife Moda, is finalizing these days the act of the final of the contest, which will feature an innovative staging and will serve for the jury appointed for this purpose to choose the winner of the contest. The winner will receive a prize of 4,000 euros. There will also be a second prize of 2,000 euros and another will reward the most commercial collection, also with 2,000 euros.

Efraín Medina has announced that the Cabildo intends that next year the contest will acquire an international character, "so that Tenerife is a reference for young design throughout the Atlantic space".
