A boat with 40 Maghreb migrants seeking to reach Lanzarote is rescued

Maritime Rescue has rescued this Saturday morning a boat with 40 immigrants of Maghreb origin, including a woman and a child, who were trying to reach the coasts of Lanzarote, as reported to Efe sources from the state society.

All members are in apparent good health after the rescue, which took place about 11 kilometers from the coast and around 00:30 at night.

Finally, Salvamento disembarked the rescued at the Commercial Dock of Arrecife about 01:45 in the morning, where they were attended by the emergency device of 112 and Cruz Roja.

This is the second boat that has been rescued since Friday after the same salvamar, the Al Nair, rescued another boat of similar characteristics, with 43 occupants, that had sailed from the Moroccan city of Safi
