In the "VIII edition of the Insular Drawing contest Paint and Take Care of your island" under the slogan "Building Bridges for dialogue", 1,152 drawings from different centers of the islands have been received, elaborated by students of Infant and Primary of the three proposed categories, reports the Mercedes Medina association.
This contest is an activity promoted by the Mercedes Medina Díaz Association together with the business group "Cabrera Medina". Which aims to "encourage creativity, curiosity of students and thus become aware of our natural environment and the problems of the world", he reports.
A jury composed for this purpose by members of the association, the sponsoring company and the Lanzarote Teacher Center, will select the drawings to extract the winners in the three categories. The decision will be made public next Wednesday, June 7 and the awards will be presented at the respective headquarters of the business group on each island.
