Flight IB1513 of the airline Iberia Express, which was scheduled to cover the Madrid - Lanzarote route, had to be canceled this past Friday due to the bad weather conditions at the island's airport.
As confirmed by the airline itself, "the strong wind on runway 03 of Lanzarote airport made the operation impossible, which forced the flight to be rescheduled" which was scheduled to take off at 9:00 p.m.
Finally, the passengers were relocated to a hotel to spend the night and catch the flight the next day, which was rescheduled for 05:00 a.m. on Saturday.
It is not the first time that the company Iberia Express has suffered problems with the operation of its flights, since as La Voz published, another flight that covered the same route in reverse was also canceled.
