National Police agents found this past Friday the body of a 75-year-old man in his home on León y Castillo street in Arrecife, according to police sources informed La Voz.
A neighbor alerted the emergency services due to the bad smell coming from the home, so the National Police moved to the scene.
Upon entering the dwelling, the agents found the lifeless body of this man and in a state of decomposition, since he had been deceased for several days. After that, the removal of the corpse was proceeded with.
According to police sources have indicated to this medium, the main hypothesis being considered is that the elderly man died of natural causes, although it will be the autopsy that determines when he died and the cause.
