A vehicle has overturned after leaving the road on Libertad Street, near the José Saramago roundabout, in the municipality of Tías.
The Emergency Coordination Center received the notice at 8:30 a.m. this Wednesday. Volunteer firefighters from Lanzarote and firefighters from the Security and Emergency Consortium of the island and agents of the Local Police of Tías moved to the scene. Upon arrival, the vehicle was in a lateral position without occupants.
The Boluntis proceeded to disconnect the battery and collaborate with the firefighters of the Consortium.
The driver was allegedly under the influence of alcohol, according to police sources speaking to La Voz, has not been arrested, but the proceedings for these events have been transferred to the duty court.
