Two people have been arrested by the National Police for their alleged involvement in the fire that occurred on Wednesday morning in an "abandoned house occupied by drug addicts and homeless people" on Hierro Street, in Arrecife. According to sources from the National Police, the two arrested are related to the environment itself in which the "arson" occurred.
The detainees could be accused of a crime for causing the fire and even another for attempted homicide. The Police continue the investigations to determine in what circumstances the event occurred and the involvement of these two people.
Regarding the health status of the injured, the 17-year-old is the one with the least serious condition. For their part, the affected couple, who suffer burns, are "serious". All have suffered burns and remain in the José Molina Orosa Hospital.
