The triathlete Saleta Castro Nogueira has recorded a video in Lanzarote, at the same spot where a 40-year-old Danish cyclist lost her life two weeks ago, after being hit by an Italian driver who tested positive for alcohol and drugs.
That event, in which the victim's husband was also hit and injured, shocked Lanzarote and, especially, the world of sports and cycling. With this video, Saleta Castro wanted to denounce this type of situation and raise awareness among drivers, so that they respect cyclists on the road.
The video, which was uploaded to Youtube, has accumulated more than 770,000 views in just four days.
