National Police agents have arrested in the municipality of Arrecife three minors, one of them 15 and two others 17, as alleged perpetrators of a robbery with force in a restaurant. The arrested entered the premises through a service door located at the rear of the premises and, upon noticing the police presence, hid in the warehouse, where they were located and arrested.
The events unfolded after a citizen called the telephone number 091, who had observed how three individuals were forcing the chain of a door that gave access to a restaurant in the capital of Lanzarote. The police officers who went to the place accessed the interior of the premises accompanied by the owner of the same and carried out an inspection.
The three individuals, who had noticed the presence of the agents, hid in the restaurant's warehouse, where they were located and arrested as alleged perpetrators of a robbery with force.
After verifying that they were minors, the police officers informed the Minors Section of the Provincial Prosecutor's Office of Las Palmas, who ordered that they be handed over to their parents.
The corresponding police report was prepared and sent to the competent Judicial Authority. The police intervention was carried out by agents of the Arrecife Police Station.
