Firefighters from the Emergency Consortium had to extinguish the fire of several vehicles in Vizcaya street in the capital district of Altavista early this Saturday morning. They were alerted by Cecoes at 05.34. Once on the scene, they found that three cars and a van were on fire.

Due to the magnitude of the fire, the Emergency Consortium had to mobilize another unit, the Bravo 10, for water supply. The firefighters used about 3,000 liters of water to extinguish it.

The National Police also went to the scene.

Garbage fire on a lot


Hours earlier, firefighters put out a fire in one of the storage rooms of an abandoned construction site on the Rambla Medular. To access the site, the firefighters cut a padlock with bolt cutters and proceeded to locate the source, which was in the basement. Once located, they proceeded to lay hoses and extinguish the flames with sprayed water.
