The death of Carlos David Andueza, 37 years old and a native of Tinajo, in a traffic accident this Thursday in Arrecife, has been a "major blow" to the El Geito band, of which he was a founder, along with the other six members. Toni López, one of his colleagues from El Geito, explained to La Voz that "it still needs to be assimilated" and that they are very affected. "It's something you don't expect," he lamented.
López stated that Carlos David Andueza was "like a brother" to the members of the band. "We are neighbors of Tinajo, we have all grown up together and we formed the group about five years ago," he recalled, indicating that they have experienced "many moments and anecdotes together."
About Carlos David Andueza, he assured that "he was very good people" and passionate about folklore, a world to which "he was always very linked."
