The Civil Guard has opened an investigation into the fire of a car that occurred in the early hours of Saturday to Sunday on the porch of a house in Playa Blanca. Although the Civil Guard is awaiting the technical report from the firefighters to see how the fire started, it is believed to have been intentional, according to reports from this body to La Voz, from where they have indicated that this would constitute a crime of damage.

The incident took place at around 00:30 on Sunday on the porch of a house in Residencias El Palomar de Playa Blanca, where the car was parked. At that time, alerted by the Civil Guard, the firefighters went to the scene and proceeded to extinguish it, although the vehicle was "practically burned, except for the engine and wheels", according to the Security and Emergency Consortium.
