The Emergency Consortium had to extinguish the fire of several containers in different parts of the island this Friday.
The first of them occurred around 11:45 a.m. in a container located on Blasco Ibáñez street in Arrecife. Once the firefighters arrived at the scene, they verified that the fire had already been extinguished.
Later, around 2:55 p.m., they were alerted to the fire of several containers on Ancla street in Puerto del Carmen. The fire affected 3 containers, one cardboard, one plastic and another organic. A neighbor began to put out the fire with a hose until the firefighters arrived and took charge of the situation, extinguishing the flames with water in a jet and sprayed.
And the last action was around 00.25 hours on Saturday in Costa Teguise, in the surroundings of the Hotel Barcelo Teguise Beach. It was a container for collecting organic waste.
