The Sara animal shelter has received this Friday the sixth rescued podenco last Wednesday from a farm in Tías. "This podenco, in a first inspection by the Local Police of Tías, was urgently taken to the veterinarian to be treated due to his extreme thinness since his life was in immediate danger," they say from Sara.
Tahiti, as they have named the podenco, was recovering in a veterinary clinic. "He has a terrible hunger and a sadness that breaks our hearts," they say from the NGO.
Finally, they explain that it is "a wonderful dog that will be a great family companion when we get him to recover."
