The headquarters of Unión Deportiva Lanzarote suffered a robbery in the early hours of Tuesday to Wednesday. The events occurred at around 3:00 a.m., when they accessed this place, breaking a glass.
The National Police went to the headquarters of the rojillo club on Wednesday morning to try to clarify the facts and take fingerprints. At the moment it is unknown if there is more than one person involved.
According to sources from Unión Deportiva Lanzarote, the assailants took the day's takings, which were intended to pay several suppliers, as well as those from the billiards and the cigarette machine. In total, the money stolen could amount to something more than 1,000 euros.
Specifically, the robbery occurred in the club's bar, located on the ground floor of the headquarters, which is located at Calle El Isleño number 4.
