A woman has reported that she was attacked by three people when leaving a nightclub in Arrecife in the early hours of Saturday to Sunday. "They hit me like it was nothing," says the victim who, after filing a complaint with the National Police, claims she has also been threatened.

The events took place around 04:00 hours on Triana street, where the woman was walking "while making a video with her mobile". According to the complaint, to which La Voz has had access, then "a man and two women", whom she "knew by sight" and who "were arguing in the place", "scolded" her and "reproached" her for why she was "recording them with her mobile".

After that, the complainant claims that the two women began to attack her, giving her "kicks and punches all over her body", even "falling to the ground", where she continued to receive "blows". "This is so you don't mess with my boss again," the victim said in statements to La Voz. And, she says, the man and one of the women who attacked her work in a bar and a call shop in Arrecife respectively, with whose owner she once argued. "They had it all planned because they saw me in the disco and were waiting for me to leave," she added.

After the attack, the woman was treated at the Valterra Health Center. According to the injury report, she had a slight abrasion on her back and on a fingernail. In addition, the victim claims that she suffered blows to the face, although the medical report indicates that there are no signs

Threats to withdraw the complaint

In addition to the complaint to the National Police, the woman has also filed another one in the Courts, although in this case for threats. And, she says that two nights after the attack, she met one of the women who attacked her in a bar and she told her that "if she didn't drop the complaint she had filed the day before against her and her husband, she would give her another beating".

She also claims that when she was arriving at her house after leaving the bar, she was threatened by a man who was behind her, although in this case with "giving her grandson", who is 15 years old, a beating. "I'm afraid they'll catch him and beat him up," says this woman, who therefore wanted to make the events public. "I want them to know that if something happens to me, it was those people who hit me, although I'm not afraid for myself, but because they hit the boy," she concluded.
