A resident of Arrecife has reported being the victim of a robbery in her home, located on Avenida de la Mancomunidad. In addition, she claims that her husband was later attacked by those she believes may have been the perpetrators of the robbery.
Specifically, in a complaint she filed with the National Police, this resident claims that "she left her home at about 07:00 on Saturday" and that after returning to it "at about 17:00", she noticed that "they had forced the access door, lifting a piece of wood in the area where the handrail is located".
Upon entering the apartment, she says that everything was "completely disordered" and that she then found that she was missing two televisions, a laptop, a bag of clothes, several pieces of jewelry such as two rings and a gold bracelet, as well as a watch, among other items.

After that, this woman claims that she went to the Police. "But they didn't attend to me because they said they had other urgent cases," she said in statements to La Voz, in which she pointed out that she then decided to keep trying on Sunday, the day on which she claims her husband was attacked.
According to her account, the attack occurred after her partner met some neighbors, "accusing them at that time of the robbery." And, according to her, they have had "problems" with some young people who live "in the lower part of the building" and suspect that "they may have been the perpetrators." "Then they beat him up," says the woman, who also stated this before the National Police.
The complaint for the robbery and assault was finally filed on Sunday night and the National Police has confirmed that it has already opened an investigation to clarify the facts.
