The Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium intervened this Monday, June 30, at 11:07 a.m. in a traffic accident that occurred at kilometer 5 of the LZ-1 highway, in the Tahiche-Guatiza direction, within the municipality of Teguise.
The notice was initially received through the CECOES and later confirmed by telephone call. Upon arrival of the emergency teams, it was found that it was a single vehicle involved, overturned laterally next to the road.
The two occupants of the car were outside the vehicle and suffered minor injuries. While the firefighters provided assistance and secured the area, the Traffic Civil Guard appeared at the scene.
The fire department's action consisted of wedging the vehicle with wedges and chocks, placing slings on the base of the chassis and, with the help of a winch, returning the car to its normal position on the wheels.
For its part, the Civil Guard was in charge of carrying out the corresponding report.
