Local Police officers from Tías proceeded in the early hours of Wednesday to arrest M.J., 30 years old and a native of Morocco.
The events occurred when the agents were providing surveillance in the town of Pto. Del Carmen, when they observed the alarm of one of the restaurants in the area activated and an individual jumping from the terrace of the premises towards an adjoining building. Shortly after, they located this person unconscious on the ground after jumping from a height of approximately five meters, leaving several objects he had stolen from the restaurant on the terrace.
For this reason, medical assistance was required at the scene, and the injured person was transferred to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital in Arrecife, where he remains admitted under the custody of the security forces under the charge of robbery with force.
