A middle-aged man has been injured, with contusions to his head and elbows, after being hit by a car this Saturday morning.
The accident took place at around 08:40 minutes, just in front of the bus station in the municipality of Arrecife.
The NGO Spanish Red Cross, which sent an ambulance to the scene after receiving the call, evacuated the only injured person to the General Hospital after assisting the patient on site.
The report of the Local Police of Arrecife highlights the state of intoxication in which the pedestrian was at the time of the accident. The Red Cross specified that the man crossed the road running and unexpectedly, causing the impact of a car, whose occupant did not require any assistance.
