An individual "with a rifle" and "shooting" in the middle of the street in the Argana neighborhood, in Arrecife. This is what a neighbor reported last Monday to the National Police of Arrecife. The events occurred on Sunday night to Monday at 00:05 hours.
In the complaint, which La Voz has had access to, the affected party states that he was at home when he "heard shots outside." At that moment, he observed a security camera that he has in his house, which focuses on the door of the house, but he did not see anything.
Immediately afterwards, he went up to the top of his house and looked out onto the terrace, from where he observed an "individual with a rifle, pointing towards the public road and shooting." According to the complaint, the individual was leaning on a railing.
The complainant quickly called 091. Several patrol cars arrived at the scene, searched the area but did not find the perpetrator of the shots. What the complainant did find the following morning was that the shots "had impacted the door of his home", in "the left window" and in "his private vehicle", causing "small holes". In the car, there were up to "eight impacts."
The complainant assured the National Police that he did not know the perpetrator or perpetrators of the events.
