The Emergency Consortium had to act early this Saturday morning in several fires in Arrecife and Puerto del Carmen.
The first of these occurred at approximately 01.06 hours on Chubasquillo street in Puerto del Carmen. The Local Police alerted the Emergency Consortium to the fire of a cardboard recycling container. The Local Police officers extinguished it with a powder extinguisher and the firefighters put out some embers that remained. The container was left operational.

Later, at approximately 04.00 hours, they were alerted by a citizen to the fire of a vehicle on Tenderete street in the Argana neighborhood. Once at the scene, the firefighters verified that the fire was located in the interior of a vehicle and that it was affecting two other cars that were parked on both sides.
And minutes later, the Emergency Consortium was notified by the CECOES of a house fire on La Fermina street in Arrecife. The fire was located in a bathroom located in the basement and the owner had managed to extinguish it. The firefighters verified that the fire was completely extinguished and ventilated the house to evacuate the smoke that still remained inside.
