The personnel of Emergencies of the Yaiza City Council were requested by 112 to extinguish a fire inside a house in the south of Lanzarote. The device was activated after 05.35 hours on Thursday, April 26, after the neighbors noticed smoke coming out of the building.

The Yaiza Emergency service, attached to the Department of Security and Civil Protection of the Yaiza City Council, moved to the place and suffocated the fire that, supposedly, originated in the kitchen of the house. Inside there was a person who did not notice the smoke and had to be assisted by Red Cross volunteers for inhalation.

In this device participated, in addition to Yaiza Emergencies, agents of the Local Police, who coordinated the device, and Cruz Roja Lanzarote.
