National Police agents have arrested a 26-year-old man in Arrecife, with numerous police records, as alleged perpetrator of the crimes of trespassing and theft. He entered a property in Arrecife disguised with a wig through a window and seized a tablet and two wallets containing documentation and money. When he was surprised by the owner of the house, he abandoned the stolen objects and fled.
The events were triggered after a man reported that while he was having dinner with his wife in the kitchen of his home, he had heard noises in the living room.
When she went to check what was happening, the woman saw an open window and a stranger disguised with a wig carrying several objects in his hands. The individual then dropped a tablet and two wallets containing personal documentation and money, which he had just stolen and left the house running.
The police investigation allowed the full identification of the alleged perpetrator of the events, who was located and arrested in Mastelero street in the capital of Lanzarote for the crimes of trespassing and theft.
After the corresponding police report was prepared, the detainee was placed at the disposal of the competent Judicial Authority.
