The Local Police of Arrecife transferred D.C.A., 29 years old, and a native of Madrid, to the police station in the early hours of Wednesday, June 1, after he was reported by the owner of a central capital restaurant "for having eaten at the establishment and refusing to pay."
According to the police report, the events took place after twelve o'clock at night, when the agents who were carrying out the surveillance service in the area were required by the owner of the premises.
Once at the scene, the owner told the police that D.C.A. had eaten at the restaurant without paying his bill. Given this, the agents transferred the individual to the police station for identification, "since he was undocumented."
It was in the premises of the Local Police where the defendant stated to the agents "that he was not paying, because he had no money." Likewise, "and in a despotic tone", he addressed the agents to warn them that what he had done "was a fault and that they could not do anything to him. That they take his data, that he was leaving."
D.C.A. has a police record for extortion and, according to reports from the Local Police, it is his usual practice to go to the capital's restaurants and not pay. For this reason, the police force is calling on the owners of the premises to report these events.
