Two people have been injured this Monday in an accident that took place on the Rambla Medular in Arrecife, near the Cabildo roundabout. The incident occurred shortly before 10 in the morning, when a driver lost control of the vehicle and ended up overturning after colliding with three other cars that were parked.
Two ambulances from the Canary Emergency Service have traveled to the scene, which were responsible for transferring the two injured to the hospital. One is the driver herself, who is 43 years old and had mild cervicalgia, and the other is a man who was at that time in one of the parked vehicles.
This second injured person is 55 years old and at the initial moment of assistance presented "moderate multiple contusions", according to CECOES, so he was transferred by ambulance to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.
Firefighters from the Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium also intervened in the incident, who were responsible for securing the vehicle and cleaning the road, and agents from the Arrecife Local Police, who took charge of regulating traffic and instructing the corresponding procedures.
