A truck towing a container has collided with the access bridge to the Ring Road causing structural damage, according to the Emergency Consortium.
The accident took place at 13.25 hours this Thursday. After being alerted, agents of the Civil Guard, the Road Service and firefighters have moved to the location.
The structure of the tunnel has been damaged leaving remains of concrete scattered on the road and several broken corrugated iron rods that made it impossible for vehicles to pass. The Civil Guard has cut off one of the directions and redirected traffic while the emergency teams have cut the rods with the radial and subsequently have sanitized the structure at the same time.
For its part, the Road Service has removed the material and cleaned the area.
