A 40-year-old person was injured with burns to the body and face in a fire that took place this Monday in a utility room of a house located on the LZ-2, near Yaiza.
According to the Security and Emergency Consortium, when firefighters arrived at the scene, the affected person had already been evacuated by the ambulance.
The firefighters verified that it was a fire that affected a room where there were three gas cylinders, gasoline containers and paints, and proceeded to extinguish it with water in a jet and sprayed. Once extinguished, they ventilated the room and ended the service.

The firefighters also extinguished this Monday a fire in another house, in this case in Islandia street in Playa Blanca.

According to the Security and Emergency Consortium, the fire affected the kitchen and the owner facilitated the extinction. And, according to them, with "good judgment" he closed the door and the window leaving it in slow combustion.
