The Local Police of Arrecife has arrested a minor as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of theft of a motor vehicle.
A police statement explains that last Wednesday, around 7:00 p.m., a 15-year-old minor was arrested in Arrecife, after being reported for stealing a moped from inside a garage on Capillanía street.
According to the complaint, the minor was surprised by the owner of the vehicle, at which point he abandoned it to flee, being intercepted by a patrol of the Local Police on the Rambla Medular, where he was arrested and read his rights for his subsequent transfer to the National Police Station, where he was placed at the disposal of the court.
