The events allegedly took place in the town of Caleta de Sebo, in La Graciosa, in the area known as Las Cuadras. The alleged aggressor could be a man in his 40s, a neighbor of the town, as is the victim, who is around 30 years old and, according to sources close to the case, has a mental disability.
The sister of the alleged victim was the one who raised the alert and Civil Guard officers were transferred to La Graciosa
After being transferred to Lanzarote, the accused is in the Civil Guard facilities in Costa Teguise. The detainee, according to the procedure in these cases, will be brought to justice within a maximum of 72 hours.
