A cyclist was hit last Saturday while training with his bicycle on the road adjacent to the road that connects Tahíche with Arrieta. According to Jorge Delgado, the victim of this accident, a motorcycle that was traveling "at high speed" ran over this man, who was riding a bicycle with a companion.
"My friend was able to jump to the side. I was less lucky and I have a broken ankle and some other injuries", says Jorge Delgado. Therefore, this affected person wants to make a call to "this type of motorcyclists, who have, apparently, a good history of injuries."
"If instead of two cyclists it had been a person walking with their children or with their dogs, perhaps the accident would have been much more tragic," he says.
