Firefighters had to go to Puerto del Carmen alerted by a car fire. The incident took place at 12.30 this Saturday on Belgium Street in the tourist town.
A call alerted the Lanzarote Emergency Consortium of the fire coming from a car on that street. Apparently, according to the Consortium, the engine sounded abruptly and flames began to come out. Fortunately, it has only affected the front of the vehicle.
