A 32-year-old woman has been slightly injured after falling with her van from a four-meter-high bridge, located on the LZ-2 road, in the El Cable area of the Lanzarote municipality of Arrecife, as reported to ACN Press by the Coordinating Center for Security and Emergencies of the Government of the Canary Islands (Cecoes) 1-1-2.
Emergency services received the alert at 18:10 hours, at which time personnel from the Lanzarote Fire Consortium, the Civil Guard and a medicalized ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) were dispatched to the scene.
The firefighters released the affected woman from inside the vehicle, who was later evacuated by the SUC to the José Molina Orosa Hospital with minor multiple injuries.
