A 63-year-old Irish tourist was rescued this Sunday after an accident in the Quíquere Ravine near Puerto Calero, as reported by the Emergency Consortium.
At 16.13 hours the CECOES received a call alerting that there was a person with a problem in the ankle and could not walk. Agents of the Local Police, Civil Protection, an ambulance of the Canary Emergency Service and firefighters have traveled to the place.
The sanitary personnel attended to the affected person who presented a possible fracture of the tibia. For their part, the firefighters have immobilized the ankle to later transfer it on a stretcher to the ambulance.
Finally, the sanitary personnel evacuated her to the Doctor José Molina Orosa hospital.
