The Civil Guard has managed to intercept 20 immigrants from the boat that arrived this Monday at the Risco de Famara beach, of which 13 are possible minors. According to the Benemérita, all of them are men of Maghreb origin and are "in good health."

The boat was spotted at sea by the skipper of one of the boats that connect Lanzarote and La Graciosa at around 8:30 a.m. and then arrived at Playa del Risco de Famara, where an operation was established to locate the occupants.

The Costa Teguise Civil Guard continues to work with the Fiscal and Border Patrol (PAFIF) in coordination with the emergency teams, Local Police and National Police.

This is the second boat that has arrived on the island this Monday. At 7:30 a.m. another boat arrived at La Garita de Arrieta Beach. In this case, the Civil Guard reported that it had intercepted 13 immigrants, of whom six stated that they were minors.
