The sky of Arrecife once again hosted a drone show, on this occasion, the largest in the Canary Islands to date, as reported by the Cabildo of Lanzarote.

This year, the area of the Theme Park of the capital was chosen for the flight of these 226 drones that created incredible figures, especially Christmas and island-themed. They alternated Christmas themes such as a toast, champagne, the words 'Happy New Year' or a countdown, with different symbols of the island's culture and landscapes, such as the Lanzarote logo, a traditional house, a farmer or La Geria, among other things.

The president and councilor of SPEL-Turismo de Lanzarote, Oswaldo Betancort, highlighted that the objective of this show is to offer an alternative to traditional fireworks, "since the noise of these has significant consequences for some people with functional diversity and animals".
