'Lost Postcards' Show in Arrecife

Last Friday night, La Plazuela, in the heart of the city of Arrecife, was filled with music, dance and theater with the show 'Lost Postcards'. A group created and directed by Manuel Estupiñán, with which the public could enjoy novel content and a constantly moving staging. It was an event in which the messages were mixed with the music and crossed the stage. Thus they managed to make the attendees aware of each of the movements that were developing and be part of each of the stories that were being narrated.

Saray Castro, the main character of this story, was entrusted with the task of destroying the old ark located in the foreground of the stage. In this ark were stored many of those postcards that did not reach their destination. She, motivated by curiosity, began to read them, turning them into inspiring stories without even realizing it.

Stories that were turned into songs performed by great singers such as: Manuel Estupiñan, Marieme Abdoulaye and Thania Gil, each with a different tone of voice. With torn, honeyed and very harmonized voices, they managed to make this novel show conquer the public. A show in which they were surrounded by six great professional musicians and the choreographies of Andrea Pérez and Abián Hernández.

When the time came for the farewell, those present remained attentive to know where each and every one of those postcards was going to end up. The entire team that was part of the show 'Lost Postcards', closed the event with resounding applause that rewarded their great work.
