The Portuguese actor Marco d'Almeida, based in the north of Lanzarote, will play the Portuguese police inspector Hélder Gomes in the series Sequía, a thriller co-produced by RTVE and RTP, whose plot takes place in Campomediano, a town that emerges from the waters at the bottom of the reservoir that bears its name and where human remains appear.
The series, which premieres its first season this Tuesday, has among its cast of Spanish actors Elena Rivera (Cuéntame cómo pasó, Inés del alma mía), Rodolfo Sancho (El Ministerio del Tiempo, Isabel), Miryam Gallego (Águila Roja) and Miguel Ángel Muñoz (The Dancer).
Marco d'Almeida, born in Mozambique, is a Portuguese actor and director, known for his participation in Night Train to Lisbon (2013), Fatima (2020), Equador (2008) and A Bela e o Paparazzo (2013).
