The Jameos del Agua Auditorium will host the screening of "Traces", a documentary film by Canarian filmmaker Tarek Ode about the rock art of the Canary Islands, which has been financed by the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage of the Government of the Canary Islands and the Canarian Television. It will be next Saturday, June 11, at 9:00 p.m.

From the Tourist Centers they explain that "Traces" is a journey through different archaeological sites of the Canary archipelago and the Sahara, which aims to "bring this unique reality in the world to the general public in an entertaining and educational way". The documentary discovers new findings, such as the Cueva Tiznada in La Palma, the most recent Libyan-Berber inscriptions found in Tenerife and the map of the island of La Palma made by the Benahoaritas, among others.

Tickets to attend the screening of `Traces', which are free, can be picked up from next Monday on the website of the Centers for Art, Culture and Tourism.

The screening of "Traces", in the Jameos del Agua Auditorium, is an initiative of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage of the Government of the Canary Islands, the Cabildo of Lanzarote and the Tourist Centers.
