'Alegría' is the title of the poster that will announce the Carnival of La Graciosa, Costa Teguise and La Villa next year 2018, whose theme is the Medieval Era. A poster full of color that includes some emblematic details of the municipality such as the tower of the Church of Teguise or the symbol of the Piracy Museum, in addition to pointing out the 600 years of history, in whose celebration the Municipal Corporation is immersed.

The jury, headed by the head of Festivities, Olivia Duque, together with the technician of the area, Chany De La Hoz, Iñigo Franco, winner of last year's poster; Daniel Morales, publicist; and the painter Juan Bonilla, opted for this work among the 26 works that were presented to the contest, valuing different technical and compositional aspects of it. In the unanimous decision of the jury, the fun and carnival character of the work predominated, whose author will receive the prize of 400 euros, corresponding in the present edition.

The Councilor for Culture, Olivia Duque, congratulated the author of the work on behalf of the City Council, while pointing out "the importance of this poster for Teguise and for the Carnival festivities. "A poster that identifies the municipality and makes it unique, and that also accompanies the Corporation in the main tourism fairs in Europe".
