Strawberry Daiquiri is a feature film directed by Bryan Saltos and filmed entirely in different locations in Lanzarote. This 26-minute work deals with people's thinking and how this shapes reality.
"For example, maybe it has happened to us sometimes that you are talking with a person and a thought comes to you involuntarily and it is fostered so much that in the end you immerse yourself in that idea and you begin to see it in a very real way even though you are not paying attention to the person or what they are saying," explains Bryan Saltos, its director.
Saltos continues saying that "according to neurology, in the end reality is very subjective and in reality, worth the redundancy, it has its root in the brain, instead of the perceptual reality that we have in front of us."
Strawberry Daiquiri has been recorded in Lanzarote, in the towns of Argana, Famara and Tahíche. In total, the team took a year to get the project out and about two months to shoot it, where six actors in total have participated.
The feature film can now be seen on the YouTube channel of Latticeproducciones and the objective of its director is to give it visibility to generate a debate around it.
