Sonidos Líquidos Emotions closes its concert series with a resounding success in the double acoustic of Fuel Fandango. This Saturday and Sunday, the band of Nita and Ale Acosta from Lanzarote moved the lucky ones who enjoyed an intimate live performance at the Casa-Museo del Campesino each day. The festival thus concludes these events of the new format, which was created to adapt to the current reality.
As in the previous event, with singer-songwriter Maru Cabrera as the protagonist, tickets for Fuel Fandango sold out within minutes of going on sale. That is why the organization announced days later a second concert of the band with international projection. Nita and Ale took the stage to present their new album, Origen, through songs like 'Despertaré' or 'Mi danza'. In addition, they delighted the attendees with a special version of their song 'La Grieta'; whose introduction was an emotional speech by the artist Cesar Manrique.
On this occasion, although the public could not enjoy the wines of Lanzarote and the local gastronomy - hallmark of Sonidos Líquidos - due to the health protocols of the moment; the organization decided, jointly with the Regulatory Council of the D.O. Vinos de Lanzarote, to give attendees bottles of wine from the different wineries that were going to participate: El Grifo, Martinón, Vulcano de Lanzarote and Guiguan.
After the experience of the first Sonidos Líquidos Emotions, the festival demonstrated, again this weekend, that culture is safe. And the attendees, artists and all the event staff had exemplary behavior, strictly complying with all the established security and hygiene measures.
Sonidos Líquidos Emotions, this new more intimate format adapted to the current circumstances, has been very well received by the public, who have been very grateful for the celebration of this type of cultural events. It already did so in the first event, which took place with the singer-songwriter Maru Cabrera in the Casa Ajei of San Bartolomé.
The organization had planned to hold another Sonidos Líquidos Emotions live performance in December. However, given the circumstances, they are concluding this cycle; hoping that new events can be carried out soon with this format or another that allows to continue enjoying live music paired with Lanzarote wines and local gastronomy.
